Euro zone business grew at fastest rate in four years in June
Private euro zone business expanded at its fastest rate in four years in June, according to a new survey released today.
Markit’s Composite Flash Purchasing Managers’ Index rose to 54.1 from 53.6. The index is based on surveys of thousands of European companies.
Markit’s chief economist Chris Williamson said the index showed a “decent upturn” in business activity and pointed to 0.4 per cent economic growth for the second quarter of the year overall....
