Energy firm Gaelectric loses €13m
Company now sitting on accumulated losses of €42m
Gaelectric, the energy company with operations on both sides of the border, has recorded a loss of €13 million for the year ending March 2015.
Accounts just filed at the Companies Registration Office show that the company is now sitting on accumulated losses of €42 million.
It has a debt pile of €214 million, although the vast majority of that debt is not due to mature within a year.
