In Thailand, there are certain groups of people who don’t mean to be offensive, but have a rather significant obstacle to overcome. These groups love Nazi swastikas and assorted imagery from the era. For reasons not rooted in generally being evil, the symbolism has somehow attained a cult status in some quarters and it’s all rather awkward for blindingly obvious reasons.
