Electrical company switched on to US expansion
E+I Engineering, the Donegal-headquartered manufacturer of electrical switchgear and busbars, has plans to open a second manufacturing base in the US.
The company’s electrical equipment is used in data centres, power stations, stadiums and commercial buildings in 40 countries.
E+I employs 450 people at an existing US facility in South Carolina, which opened in 2014, and also has a factory in the United Arab Emirates.
