Waterford pharmaceutical heavyweight EirGen Pharma, which was bought for $135 million last month, has turned in pre-tax profits of €537,002.
The company, which was founded by college friends Patsy Carney and Tom Brennan, saw a loss of just over €433,000 the previous year but has now ticked into the green, clocking up a profit for 2014.
