Egypt tycoon’s fund takes 10% stake in C&C

Nassef Sawiris has an estimated $4.5 billion fortune

Southeastern Concentrated Value, an investment fund backed by Egyptian tycoon Nassef Sawiris and partners at American firm Southeastern Asset Management, has become the biggest shareholders in drinks company C&C.

The fund told the stock exchange last week it had built its stake up to 10.07 per cent, which values its holding at just under €112 million.
