Ebay is thinking of setting up offices in Sligo

The online retail giant Ebay is considering opening a customer service centre in Sligo, The Sunday Business Post has learned.

The location is said by sources to be the former Elanco site, just outside Sligo town at the Finisklin industrial estate.

At the start of this year, Elanco, an animal health manufacturing firm employing 100 people, left Sligo. The IDA has been seeking a replacement multinational for the location.
