Former Northern Irish First Minister Peter Robinson approached Nama on behalf of a property developer who was part of the ‘golden circle’ of Anglo Irish Bank borrowers.
Robinson wrote to Nama in May 2013 in relation to the loans owned by Paddy Kearney, the Belfast property developer, as Nama was preparing to sell off his borrowings as part of the controversial Project Eagle transaction.
