Dublin start-up wins €800,000 space agency contract

Done deal:€800,000 in big data funding from the European Space Agency

The European Space Agency (ESA) has awarded a contract worth €800,000 to a Dublin start-up for the development of software to interpret satellite data.

The three-year deal will see Parameter Space create four jobs, and create software to analyse data collected by the Gaia satellite launched by the ESA in late 2013.
