The chairman and chief executive of the Dublin-based drug testing and development giant Icon were each paid more than $7 million.
Regulatory filings reveal that Ciaran Murray, who moved from chief executive to chairman of Icon in March last year, was paid a total $7.5 million.
His earnings in the previous year were $10.6 million, which made him the then highest-earning chief executive of an Irish stock market-listed company.
