Dublin e-commerce firm sold for initial $119m

Clavis Insight, the Dublin e-commerce company, has been sold for an initial $119 million, a deal that could ultimately rise to a whopping $219 million if certain targets are hit.

Ascential, a global business-to-business media company, acquired the Dublin business late last week. The London-listed firm is paying $119 million up front plus future earn-outs payable over three years, which the company said could be between $25 million and $50 million.
