Drumm’s health fund Glencar gets Australian backer

Glencar, the healthcare fund chaired by former HSE chief executive Brendan Drumm, is being backed by a €100 billion Australian investment house, AMP Capital.

Founded in 1859 and a major investor in property and infrastructure globally, AMP already has an infrastructure fund dedicated to Ireland which bought wind energy assets from Viridian in 2012 for an estimated €200 million.
