Drug wholesaler Uniphar bids to buy 15 pharmacies

Acquisition is referred to competition authority

Late last year, Uniphar bought the debt of the more than 30 pharmacies Riverchem’s pharmacies from Ulster Bank.

According to reports in The Sunday Times at the time, the value of the debt was around €36.5 million, which Uniphar bought for around €10 million. That amounted to a discount of around €26 million.
