Taoglas, a wireless Internet of Things (IoT) company based in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, has acquired Dublin start-up Firmwave.

Firmwave has developed a pay-as-you-go platform for IoT developers incorporating pre-integrated hardware, firmware and device management software. It can be attached to all kinds of electronics, allowing companies to securely connect and manage IoT sensors and machines remotely.
