Distillery chandelier contract for Monaghan’s Mullan

Business has grown to employ 40 people in the village

In the eight years since architect Mike Treanor established Mullan Lighting, the business has grown to employ 40 people in the north Monaghan village from which it takes its name.

The business sells primarily to overseas markets, including Britain, Russia, Australia and the US. It recently completed a bespoke lighting project worth €80,000 for the new Legoland theme park in Dubai, and another project in Iceland for a new Hard Rock Cafe in Reykjavík.
