Move set to roll out fibre services to over 200 countries

Digicel Business, part of Denis O’Brien’s Caribbean mobile phone network group, has signed a partnership to extend its fibre services to more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

The deal is with Tata Communications, the operator of the largest wholly-owned subsea cable network in the world. Companies in the Caribbean are expected to benefit from better speeds, reliability and security on the back of the partnership.
