Dell Bank records first profit for quarter, but has overall loss in 2016

Dell Bank, the Irish-based finance arm of the computer maker, recorded its first profit in the fourth quarter of last year, but the company still reported an overall loss for 2016.

The company said its loss for the year more than halved to €4.9 million as a result of an improved trading performance, accounts filed by Dell Bank show.

Net interest income rose to €25.2 million from €20 million, while its impairment charge for the year...
