DCC takes first Asia step as Breen steps down

Head of energy division to be new chief executive as environmental arm is sold

Irish company DCC, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, has announced that its chief executive Tommy Breen is to retire after 30 years working for the group. The company also unveiled its first move into the Asian energy market, while it also announced the sale of its environmental division.

Under Breen, the company’s share price has risen by more than 600 per cent and stood at just under £71 in London this morning. DCC...
