‘Dairy deflation’ a factor in Glanbia drop

Food group estimates its 2016 earnings per share growth at 8-10 per cent

Food group Glanbia saw its share price dip in recent days on the back a decline in its revenue, and stood at €16.46 – down from just over €18 a the start of April.

The company reported last Wednesday, in a trading update ahead of its annual general meeting later that day, that its total revenue declined by 2.5 per cent in the first three months of this year. However, it repeated its full-year guidance...
