Cubic Telecom signs €100m deal with chip maker Qualcomm

As part of the deal, the mobile connectivity company will develop advanced in-car services to work alongside Qualcomm’s technology

Cubic Telecom, the Dublin software firm that raised €40 million last year, has signed a deal worth €100 million with global chipmaker Qualcomm.

As part of the deal, the mobile connectivity company will develop advanced in-car services to work alongside Qualcomm’s technology.

This will give car manufacturers the ability to provide connected car services on a global scale and the flexibility to work with multiple network operators per region.
