CRH to review executive pay after shareholders revolt

CRH is planning to review its pay policy for senior executives following an investor revolt over a salary hike for its finance director Senan Murphy.

The building materials company said that it will review the metrics attached to the awarding of stock under its share option schemes later this year.

It said its overall remuneration policy will be looked at before being put to shareholders at its annual general meeting next year.
