Cork media start-up courting angel investors

Cork-based start-up Pundit Arena is in advanced negotiations to secure a six-figure sum from angel investors.

The sports media website, set up by UCC graduates Richard Barrett and Ross O’Dwyer, has more than 250 contributors. These include fans, aspiring and established journalists, and sports celebrities such as former Irish rugby internationals Anthony Horgan and Rob Henderson and broadcaster Jimmy Magee.
