Mixed-martial arts champion Conor McGregor made a modest profit of €157,000 last year, according to the latest filings for his company McGregor Sports and Entertainment.
The accounts are for the year ending ending December 31, 2015, before McGregor's two lucrative championship fights against Nate Diaz.
Deirdre Devlin, McGregor’s partner, and long-term friend Alan Geraghty are both directors of the entertainment business.
The two also act as directors for McGregor’s investment firm Congregor Investments, which was incorporated in June this year.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter and current Featherweight Champion is the only fighter to have ever made Forbes’ highest-paid athletes list.
Last week, at a media conference, McGregor said that by the end of this year he will have earned $40 million for the year.
McGregor said he made $25 million for his rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 in August.
But a Forbes’ report, which estimates his earnings at $18 million from June 2015 to June 2016, said that McGregor had overstated his salary.
The Dubliner will be fighting his first New York UFC fight in in November.
