Connect Ireland clients to add €1.8bn to GNP by 2020

Incoming companies will pay taxes of between €326 million and €374 million

Economic consultants DKM have estimated that company clients of Connect Ireland, which seeks to create new jobs in Ireland by harnessing the diaspora, will add between €1.6 billion and €1.8 billion to Irish GNP between 2014 and 2020.

DKM said that companies brought into Ireland via Connect Ireland will pay taxes of between €326 million and €374 million during the same period.

Connect Ireland has 70,000 so-called connectors who promote Ireland as an investment location for jobs...
