Communicorp message to radio regulators
‘Back off, or prepare for deluge of fake news’
Denis O’Brien’s radio group has told the government to tear up regulations on radio broadcasting or see independent broadcasters replaced by ‘fake news’.
Communicorp chairperson Lucy Gaffney delivered the warning to communications minister Denis Naughten in a letter sent in June.
