Comment: Why renewing health cover on the same plan is crazy
The Central Bank has published the findings of its probe of health insurers
The recent Central Bank report, and the recent survey, was quite interesting. The results of this, I believe, will result in a greater focus in future by health insurers – and the regulator – on a number of areas.
There will be a greater focus on the communication process at renewal and I would expect to see revised guidelines from the Central Bank here with regard to renewal letters, email, SMS and actual phone contact.
