Irish investors to receive just €2 million out of €44 million invested in chain of nine hotels

Irish investors in a Belgian hotel group, including members of the rock group U2, are to receive just €2 million out of the €44 million in equity they invested in the chain of nine hotels.

The move represents a greater than 95 per cent loss in equity in the hotel investment for its Irish investors after ten years. U2 bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen jr both have an economic interest in the hotel...
