CityPost, a private delivery service that delivers mail to households, is planning a fresh assault on the Irish postal service that could see it hire up to 400 new staff.

The family-owned firm is in the process of hiring 120 new employees and expects that number to grow, according to managing director and shareholder Ian Glass.
