China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) is pushing hard to acquire Gaelectric’s cross-border wind farm portfolio, which has been valued at between €250 million and €350 million.

CGN has worked for three decades developing nuclear power in China and it is active in nuclear and green energy in Britain and France.
