Last week, the CSO produced its monthly inflation report. While overall levels of inflation remain subdued in the economy, there are huge variations across the basket of goods covered by the survey. Over the last 12 months, home heating oil has fallen by nearly a quarter as consumers benefit from lower energy prices.
