Cerberus wants €2m from Wallace for restaurant loan

Lawyers wrote to Wallace earlier this month alleging the loans were in default due to missed repayments

Cerberus, the investment fund at the centre of the Project Eagle controversy in the North, has demanded that independent TD Mick Wallace pay it €2 million linked to loans secured on one of the Wexford independent TD’s Dublin city centre restaurants.

It is understood that lawyers acting for Cerberus wrote to Wallace earlier this month, alleging that the loans were in default due to missed repayments which have fallen due on Wallace’s Taverna,...
