Cerberus moves against Custom House Capital-linked firm

Promontoria Aran moves in conjunction with Ulster Bank

US private equity giant Cerberus has moved against a firm linked to Custom House Capital, the private investment house which sank amid financial scandal in 2011.

Filings with the Companies Office reveal that Promontoria Aran, a special purpose company controlled by Cerberus, has moved in conjunction with Ulster Bank against M&F Finance (Ireland) Limited.

The pair appointed a receiver over assets of the company last week.
