Cerberus and AIB the most active appointing receivers to Irish companies
Vulture fund Cerberus has installed receivers over 154 Irish businesses
AIB and US vulture fund Cerberus are squeezing distressed borrowers at a rate significantly higher than their competitors, a Sunday Business Post analysis has revealed.
Data on receiverships compiled by this newspaper show that Cerberus was the most active financial institution in terms of enforcing the security it holds over business borrowers in the state over the last two years.
Acting through six subsidiaries, the multi-billion euro fund has installed receivers over 154 Irish businesses....
