Cambus to triple workforce in next five years

5th August, 2018

The Galway-based medical devices company Cambus Medical will increase its workforce from 134 to 400 over the next five years.

The firm, which was set up by Barry Comerford and John Farragher in 2006, will double the size of its facility to 70,000 square feet next year.

Based in Spiddal, Cambus Medical secured the additional 35,000 square feet from Údarás na Gaeltachta. The expansion would require a significant investment, Comerford said, in excess of €1 million.
