Callan Bacon owner eyes meaty sale option

The owners of Callan Bacon, the Kilkenny-based pork processing business, have appointed advisers Deloitte to look at options in relation to a sales process.

Expressions of interest in the region of €30 million are being looked at for the business, which has revenues of circa €100 million.

A four-generation family business, Callan Bacon processes pork into bacon products for the national and European markets.
