Peter McCarthy is group chief executive at E-net, the telecoms network company that operates the government’s Metropolitan Area Networks. E-net employs 107 people at its Limerick headquarters and an office in Dublin. Established in 2000, E-net was recently acquired by the Irish Infrastructure Fund (IIF), which is managed by AMP Capital and Irish Life Investment Managers. The company subsequently appointed a new management team led by McCarthy ahead of plans to expand into Northern Ireland...
