With the launch of his new venture Theftfinders.ie, Kilkenny-based businessman Ivan Sheridan hopes to harness digital technology to help homeowners recover stolen items online.

A carpenter by trade, Sheridan established Kilkenny City Tours in 2011 when the construction sector slumped, but his inspiration for Theftfinders.ie came from another source.

“A close friend of mine had their farm and business burgled within weeks of each other,” said Sheridan.
