BuilderEngine seeks €800,000 in funding

Money will go towards growing customer support services, development and marketing

BuilderEngine, a Galway company that helps SMEs build websites, is planning to tap investors for funding as it seeks to take on industry giants Squarespace and Shopify.

Headed by entrepreneur Keith Killilea, the outfit plans to raise more than €800,000 in funding from private backers.

The company, which has raised €180,000 in funding to date, will put the money towards growing its customer support services, development and marketing.
