British election delays AIB float

• State to wait until mid to late June to let ‘dust settle’ after polls • Upbeat stockmarkets mean pricing unlikely to be affected

AIB’s planned return to the stock market is set to be delayed slightly because of the surprise decision by the British prime minister to call a general election.
