Britain understands need for migrants, says Greencore boss

Greencore chief executive Patrick Coveney has said he believes the British government understands how important migrant workers are to the food industry, and will take it into account during the Brexit negotiations.

Speaking to The Sunday Business Post as the company announced a surge in half-year profits, Coveney said Greencore has not had any difficulty recruiting staff since the Brexit vote last year, despite fears that workers would be deterred from moving to Britain.
