Brightflag raises $1.1m investment

Firm plans expansion into US and Britain

Brightflag, the legal spend analytics start-up, has raised $1.1 million from investors to help it expand into the United States and Britain.

The Dublin-based company was co-founded in 2014 by its chief executive Ian Nolan and its chief operating officer Alex Kelly. Phil Crowley, a former Johnson & Johnson assistant general counsel, is a director of the company while its head of engineering is Sean Harrison, who previously worked as a software engineer with Accenture.
