Efforts to save the Dublin mobile marketing firm Brandtone have failed after a potential investor pulled the plug on a deal last Monday.
The Unilever-backed firm employs more than 100 people and promotes big brands like Pepsi, Heineken and Kelloggs in developing markets.
Launched in 2010, the business entered examinership last January when an allegedly delayed €2 million Accenture payment precipitated a “short term cash flow” problem at the business.
