Boylesports, the betting empire founded by self-made millionaire John Boyle, is likely to look at a backdoor way of acquiring Ladbrokes’ Irish operations, The Sunday Business Post understands.

Boylesports is believed to be considering buying some or all of Ladbrokes’ assets here by submitting an alternative scheme of arrangement to its examiner, Ken Fennell of Deloitte.
