Bord Gáis energises students with awards investment

Bord Gáis Energy has increased to €350,000 its investment in its third annual Student Theatre Awards, which recognise and reward participation in drama in schools.

The Student Theatre Awards will be launched this Tuesday by actress Amy Huberman.

Irene Gowing, communications manager of Bord Gáis Energy, said that the awards gave the company a way of bringing its sponsorship of the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin’s Grand Canal, to the entire country....
