Bord Bia begins trade mission to Iran as sanctions are lifted

Scope to expand €3.6m in exports of juices, butter and prepared foods

Bord Bia together with Department of Agriculture officials and 17 Irish food companies, begin a three-day trade mission to Iran this weekend.

The trip comes after international sanctions were lifted earlier this year.

Department of Agriculture officials will also visit Turkey for talks on developing trade.
