Their own experience trying to find an Irish-themed present for their young daughter Mikaela prompted parents Michelle Melville and Derek Mulveen to launch their own range of children’s books and souvenirs.

The Galway couple established Eire’s Kids in Oranmore in December 2012, to sell a story book series they had illustrated themselves.
