The Irish Stock Exchange has reported a rise in profits

The latest update from the stock exchange indicated that turnover for the six months to the end of June was €48.8 billion, an increase of 11 per cent on the same period a year earlier.

According to the ISE’s statement, share trading in the first half of 2016 hit record levels. There were 3.7 million equity trades in the six months, up 37.7 per cent compared with the same period last year.
