Blockbuster merger between two drug giants imminent
US-based Pfizer in talks to buy Dublin based Allergan for as much as $380 a share
A mega merger between Pfizer and Allergan could come as early as Monday - valuing the Irish Botox-maker as high as $150bn.
US based Pfizer is understood to be in advanced talks to buy Dublin-domiciled Allergan for as much as $380 a share.
The proposed deal, still under negotiation, would probably see Pfizer redomicile in Ireland, where Allergan is registered and corporation taxes are much lower.
