Bike theft deterrent system secures funding boost

BikeLook will take part in Swiss Kickstart programme

BikeLook, the Dublin start-up developing tracking technology to detect and deter bicycle theft, has secured a place on the Swiss zero equity accelerator programme Kickstart. It is one of 30 start-ups selected from 1,500 applicants worldwide to take part in the 11-week Kickstart programme, which will begin in Zurich this September.

BikeLook will receive funding of more than €13,000 to help develop technology that tells cyclists if their bike is moved in their absence.
