Big companies delaying payments to SMEs is killing jobs: report

Twice as many Irish companies as EU average felt their growth was limited

Irish companies are more likely than their European counterparts to believe that the phenomenon of bigger companies delaying payments to small companies is limiting job creation.

The findings came in a report by debt collection firm Intrum Justitia that found in Europe at large, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are being squeezed by large corporations' cash flow management across Europe.
